Medijam: A Versatile Medication-Support Snack for Pets with Allergies
Addressing a common request gathered from pet owners at Vet's Labo events all over Japan, for a medication-support snack suitable for pets with allergies.
MediBall is a tasty Medication assist treat that mask the smell and taste of pills, turning medication time into delicious treats time! MediBall is crafted from ground chicken breast mixed with oil and fat. Known for its softness and delicious taste, Mediball quickly became a favorite.
A Solution for Pets with Chicken Allergies:
Despite the popularity of MediBall, we lacked a medication support snack for pets allergic to chicken. So, it really hurts when I hear people saying that they are allergic to chicken. We wanted all pets, including those with chicken allergies, to enjoy taking their medicine.

At Vet's Labo, we develop products year-round, constantly observing and treating pets in veterinary clinics and listening to pet owners' concerns who are worried about their beloved dogs and cats, who are important members of the family, even if they are not sick.

Overcoming Development Challenges:
Creating a paste-type snack that pets would find smooth and palatable was a significant challenge. Meats like beef and horse are very fibrous, making it difficult to achieve the desired texture. However, through innovative development techniques and countless prototypes, we succeeded in creating MediJam, a smooth and unobtrusive medication snack. Its name reflects its texture—similar to jam.

The daily feeding amount for MediJam varies based on your cat's breed, age, activity level, season, and individual needs. Considering these factors, please use the following guidelines to feed your cat several times a day:
